How it works
The Forge is organized around daily loops that are simple enough for a child to execute, yet rich enough for a Guide to shape. The AI layer does not replace the human; it removes friction so the human can do what only a human can do.
The student loop
1) Today
One screen. One plan. One next step.
2) Lesson runner
Content + questions + tutor panel with hint ladder and “explain why.”
3) Mastery check
Short checks aligned to objectives, producing a clear outcome: mastered or needs practice.
4) Projects
Build and share. Evidence is uploaded; a rubric turns creativity into growth.
The guide loop
Detect stuckness
Time-on-task + repeated errors + tutor escalation generate an alert with a hypothesis.
Intervene minimally
Send a parent script, assign a mini-lesson, or schedule a live check-in—then measure if it worked.
The parent loop
Low-prep mode
Scripts, schedule blocks, and a plan that collapses gracefully when the day is chaos.
Weekly summary
Evidence-based wins + stuck points + next week focus, with minimal emotional labor.
